A beautiful fishing village with historical charm. This fishing town survived for centuries because of whale hunting.

Known for its lovely beaches, including Saturraran and Mutriku beach itself, and its stunning surrounding cliffs, this destination is a true gem for nature lovers.

Don’t miss out on its old town, which was established in the early 13th century (in 1209) and is characterised by its narrow cobblestone streets adorned with palaces, towers, and emblazoned houses. One of its major peculiarities is that the town was home to prominent seafarers Antonio Gaztañeta and Cosme Damián Churruca (battle of Trafalgar hero).
